I just transitioned from an 89 9000 CD T to a 95 900 SET. I love them both for different reasons. The 900 is super nice. I put her up too 100mph with no effort at all, and she held steady and predictable. Nice. The car has a 60 day bumper to bumper warranty. I do have a few issues and would like some input, if you can only address one issue, that is plenty! here goes:
The left side light on the radio/trip info display is out-should be a simple fix?
The remote entry does not open the driver side door-should be a simple fix?
The analog and digital clocks don’t display the same time-should be a simple fix also, but does it indicate a larger problem?
The tail pipe is about a 1.5 in diameter pipe with nothing dressing it up, it seems narrow and simple compared to my 9000T? is it an aftermarket cheap pipe, am I loosing horsepower, I want as much as I can get!
It has been very cold here (NY) lately. With all cars you get condensed exhaust from start up till the engine is warm, then it goes away. With my 900 SET, on idle the condensation was still there after 1 hour of highway driving. Is this of any concern?
The front right suspension sounded rough for the first bumpy quarter mile I drove this morning, then it was absolutely quiet, again, it was very cold, my 9000 did sort of the same thing only it corrected itself more quickly. Is this of concern?
A friend said the the suspension was recalled on this car. Is that true?
Despite this long bit of mine, I LOVE the car. A happy convert, jb
