Calling all Stereo Buffs!! (Front Speaker Replacement ?)

Hi-
Ok, I finally found some time to start putting in my stereo in my '95 900 SETC. Searches have not helped. A few problems so far.
1) How have you all ran wiring to front door speakers. In Richard's site, and others they say to run through the rubber elbow. Mine is CRAMMED full of wires that have pin connections (quick release) inside. I could see drilling through some of the empty holes, but can't fit a drill for the inside holes. I planned on using 14 gauge speaker cable.
2) Anyone seen the inside of the door without the panels off?? There's more holes in there than swiss cheese!! Seriously, I have a set of Diamond Audio 6.5" Hex Series Components, and I've already built up an MDF baffle the size of the stock plastic basket. But I'm concerned with the lack of a seperating wall between front and rear soundwaves. I will have a crossover and a seperate subwoofer, so the fronts won't be producing very low frequencies, but still. What results have you had??
I plan on Dynamatting later on down the road, but I need the speakers in asap.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rahul S
