This is a new vehicle? I guess that if the rings are not fully seated, the blow by gasses while on boost could do this. Fine carbon and soot is not meant to be removed by filters.

Are you looking a jar of this stuff, or a drop?

When draining, I would expect that when looking at the fine stream, that comes out after the initial rush is gone, would appear amber and transparent, without an appearance of muddyness, murkyness or cloudyness. I am on my first fill of Mobil One after 5+ years of Castrol Syntec. So It will be interesting to see how it looks at drain time. The Castrol product is a dark maple syrup color when new. Mobil one is much lighter in appearance.
