This BB is the best place to start. There are many things that you can do and have installed. Some things you have to do your self, and are not bolt-on devices. So it will help if you are comfortable with tools etc.
The only real issues are your budget and your motivation.
You can get lots more power. You also need to address traction and handling. This means suspension work and performance tires.
A Saab Sports SS cat-back and a 33-2663 K&N drop in filter should fitted prior to increasing the boost. There are $500 to $1000 ECU mods that will give you ample power. The front suspentsion needs work to overcome inherent design limitations (being very polite here...).
On your 97SET, you need to also modify the air box (DIY), remove the turbo compressor discharge silencer which is inserted into the metal tube that goes to the intercooler (DIY), and grind out the 3/8" ID step reduction where the throttle body transition casting couples to the 2" (50mm) metal tube (DIY).
Best that you search the archives and read for a while. See the NG900, 9-3 and performance BB's. Aside from the hardware, the journey is more about learning. When you get specific intentions, run it by the BB for recommentations, instructions, advice and perhaps flames :)
Your engine is just broken in. If you are going to increase power, it might be a good idea to get onto synthetic oil and better filters.
95SET, 117000 miles, 15 PSI boost, Abbott rescue kit, and other stuff mentioned above.
