I was having a boost related cutout with w.o.t in 3/4/5 gears, boost would go 1/2 way into red then stutter. I did the following parts of the 125k mile service this weekend; plugs (BCPR6ES11 gapped to .039, 20ft/lb), fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, various inspections etc. It seems that one of the above items has changed the problem somewhat, now the boost doesn't go into mid-red then stutter it stutters while the BPC is "correcting" the boost. It's present in all gears so far as I can tell, and comes on about mid-yellow. In second gear while accelerating hard it will stutter mid-yellow then boost comes on very hard with great acceleration, in fifth while coasting (65mph, 2500rpm)then going to wide open throttle it starts stuttering around mid-yellow then goes to beginning of red and stutters mildly as if to keep boost from increasing, whereas before it would accelerate smoothly to mid red and then stutter harder. I noticed that the plugs that came out were the NGK BCPR7's and they had black deposits, I'm considering trying a fresh set of these and see what that does. Any further suggestions are welcome. The dealer is getting the car this Wednesday for the remainder of the service and to give diagnosis of problem.
