You might be able to make a repair with either silicone sealant or an epoxy meant for plastic. I'd take the part off, and soak/scrub it in an extremely strong solution of laundry detergent and very hot water to remove ALL traces of oil and dirt. If you're using silicone sealant, just smear some in the crack, let it cure, and reassemble.
I would prefer I think an epoxy for the job though, if you can find one compatable with the type of plastic that the fitting is made of. You might want to rough up any smoothe exterior surfaces first with some fine sandpaper to effect a better bond. Mix the epoxy, gunge a little neatly on both mating surfaces, clamp with a suitable tool, and allow to cure overnight. This might or might not work. If it doesn't, hit the dealer up for another one. They can't be all that expensive.
