It is not a new box, but a modification to the lower half of the box. The filter dimensions are not changed, and the part number is 33-2663.
I have made a funnel that fits over the lower box front boss. This does not alter the box other than removing the 15" snorkle tube. REM's method involves cutting way part of the box to allow insertion and bonding of a 3" tube. REM's method is probably more effective in reducing dynamic flow losses. Either method will require significant effort.
Someone else removed the box, and put a cone filter behind the fog light, with a tube comming up through an opening that already exists. This would be very effective.
There are no bolt on solutions. There has been talk about building a box, to keep engine bay heat away from cone filters. No one has reported that they have actually done this.
