I was screwing around with a turn signal indicator at a junkyard and popped out the orange piece to see what it would look like. The only problem I see is that the clear plastic left in that section is totally transparent (it doesn't disperse the light) so doesn't it look kinda stupid because you can see the bulb through it? What does it look like when the bulb is turned on? I've seen pictures of the REAL European turn signals and they look a little better.
Oh, and you better keep the orange bulb in order to pass inspection and/or avoid hassle from the cops... Not to mention, other drivers expect to see orange turn signals and could be confused by your hacked ones. Safety is still a little more important than "style" don't ya know.
