I have two Saabs bought from individuals in the last year. My observation is that the previous owners don't necessarily understand Saabs. Saabs require preventative maintenance and if you ignore it you pay dearly. If this maintenance is done you are rewarded dearly. I had to bring both of my Saabs back "up to snuff". Now they are great. My guess is that you might have to do a few significant maintenance items then the car will be great. I would also suggest to contact the previous owner and ask why he traded a two year old car in. It has enough miles on it to start finding some common Saab problems. Absolutely have it inspected by a SAAB mechanic then negotiate with the dealership. If you buy it, love your Saab and it will love you back.
