My 1998 900SET is set-up like this (all the screws are T25 Torx head on my car, some other model years may be phillips drive):
To work on the headlight washer hoses and the check vlave, it is easiest to remove some of the components.
First open the hood and remove the grill (just push in the two locking tabs on the top and pull-up).
Then remove the turn signal assemblies (they are held by one screw, at the headlight and then just slide the assembly out toward the front of the vehicle, it can just be left hanging by the wiring).
First fold the headlight wipers forward out of the way. Then remove the headlight assemblies (they are held in with three screws, two on the top and one down low on the side near the turn signal, then remove the connector on the side of the headlight assembly.)
Now all the washer hoses and the check valve (my vehicle has one check valve feeding both headlights) is exposed.
