Playing around with the manual mode, after much panicing, I figured out that that drive motor was disenguaged. Yes, it is on the right side (near where the fuel filler tube drops thru). If you reach in there you will find the motor is now loose, it is attached and hinged at the top. It needs to be pushed firmly to the left and back onto the shaft of the drive mechanism. Make sure the red lever is back in the auto position, so that the cable that pulls the motor off the shaft is slack.
I recall still having to play around to get everything (the computer) synchronized again. You may have to put the top back down in manual mode then re-enguage the motor. I can't really remember. Just don't force anything. Good luck.
