OK, I've read the FAQs but they are aimed at the OG900s and the NG's seats are obviously very different, for example it is only a 2 wire connector to the seat not 3! I have 12 volts from the harnes that works with the switch so there is power to the seat heater circuit!
I have the seat out of the car. No continuity either in the seat/seat back combo or in the seat back alone. Questions, how do you remove the upolstery from:
1. The seat - appears to be some sort of cardboard strip captive in a hem of the seat material along side and front edges that is slipped into metal tangs how do I get this out as there are also some metal clips that are holding the upolstery/cardboard into the metal tangs - then how do I remove the upolstery?
2. Also I think the upolstery must be 'tacked' through the foam to the undersupport in at least 4 spots - how do you get around that after the upolstery is loosened from the frame (see #1)
3. How do you remove the upolstery from the seat back - appears you might have to remove 2 large torx on each side and then undo some 'hog' clips
and I thought this would be a neat thing to do on a -15C day! TIA
