TG indicated a long time ago that there was a procedure for re-torquing an engine. As the gasket crush is then already established, the procedure might be different from when installing with a new gasket.
I assume that one would back off each bolt, one at a time, then torque again. But if there is a Saab spec for this, it would be good to know. Perhaps it is the same as the famous port of entry retorque. My mechanic, who has a life time of experience with Saabs, claims that it is not neccessary. Perhaps he is correct. But I have seen the need for things in the past. I think that I would know for sure by the feel of things, but a proper spec would be comforting.
