Strange, a tire dealer telling you that it is not a tire problem.
If you had the new tires before the trip and things ran fine until the trip, then it is probably not a tire problem.
If your suspension took a good hit you could have a bent wheel, but you probaly have 15" steel wheels, and these are much more durable than the 16" alloy wheels.
It still could be the tires. Did you have the tires and rims checked for runout. Did the wheels get cleaned? There could be some heavy dirt deposits. Ice and snow can definately cause problems, but that is a transient problem.
You need the ball joints and tie rods checked out too. I think that you need to get an inspection by the dealer with experienced Saam mechanics.
