Well, this may be a bit premature to say at this point. I don't actually take delivery until Friday. But, after owning the v-6 and extensive test driving of the turbo, I can say that they are both very smooth engines. One of the things I was concerned with was that the 4 banger gear ratio would be too short for normal driving. I was shocked to see that you don't have to wind out ever gear just to keep up with traffic. The power band seems very smooth. The biggest difference is when you really get on the throttle, what a rush! The turbo will push your back against the seat and you will be reaching for more gears as you pray that the tires will hold the road. That might be the only draw back, the front end seems really light and it's easy to spin the tires. That was why I was curious as to why the 900 turbo's didn't come with TCS. In the V6's defense, it has plenty of power for most drivers, if you own a v6 and have never driven a turbo, I suggest that you don't. There is a very addictive feel with the turbo that you don't get with a normally aspirated engine no matter how big and strong it is. I'll update this topic in the next few weeks as I get more settled with my new car.
