The engine can take the WOT just fine. The only issue is sustained boost which can create thermal problems. For street use, you can't stay on WOT for more than a few seconds, you are then going too fast.
I suggest you use a second bottle of Techron. I noticed a while ago, after 5 or 6 months, that my idle had developed a slight unevenness. Very subtle, most folks would not notice it if I pointed it out. Did a small bottle (16OZ) and the idle became absolutely smooth. Perhaps I was feeling the Trionic second spark ignition. It never actually missed at all.
Currently my milage is up about 10%. I think that the 15" Blizzaks with 38PSI are responsible for that.
As for Octane, with my manual boost controller, I will stick with 92 Octane. That is the best that I can get in Kansas.
The heat #6 plugs will stay much cleaner in your vehicle. With my highway commute, my plugs get almost white. While on boost, with over rich mixtures, the soot will be deposited. So the plugs have to be hot enough during cruise, when soot can burn off, to remove the soot created on boost.
If your injectors had poor spray patterns before the Techron, then some of the plug fouling could have been a result of that as well.
