I forget who flys that route, but Southwest usually has cheap fares (www.southwest.com). I fly US Air a lot which has numerous flights out of Pittsburg and their expansion through America West may help youget to Austin. Also try Continental. Austin can be a pain to get to without going to Houston first. Last time I went there I think it was cheaper to fly to Houston and drive to Austin (where I needed a car anyway), but it's a couple hours drive I think--not sure, this was 5 yrs ago).
