Well, this is a response to my original post, so I will do what I can. First of all I understand the best product at the best price. I'm a freetrader. There is a lot that goes into the GM product that someone copying that product does not have to pay. Everything at GM has to be designed, engineered, procured and saftey tested and yes, everything has to go through the legal department. Every nut and bolt and washer has to go through legal. GM trainers will fail you in training if your double flare brake pipe is not good enough and that comes from lawyers. I digress.
Did your copy have a "made in" sticker? Does the dealer have more high end real estate? Does the dealer have more overhead including regulation?
Like I said, I am a freetrader. I even like mexican music. There are reasons for the price disparity that you might not have considered and there may very well be a train wreck coming. The answers are above my paygrade if they exist at all.
