Could the good people of Phoenix give me some temperature readings from the center dash vent on various SAABs in our current climate. I have a customer with an 03 9-3 CV black with black leather interior. I might even consider buying some thermometers for decent input. Long story short the CV in question had a dead recirc. motor and a concern of AC cool but not cold. I know all of you could do this job for $50, but where I work it comes out to $400. The customer was very angry (snippy even) and returned after 30 blocks of driving saying I had fixed nothing. I may be missing something. Granted I am old and I drinks a bit, but in the shade in the morning Tech2 shows an evap. temp of 37 F. The condensor is clean. I welcome any questions. What I want to know is how cold does your center vent get after 10, 20 and 30 minutes driving after your SAAB has sat outside in Phoenix for the afternoon. Car color comparisons might be interesting too. I get in and out of several cars a day and I hate black leather. It's no myth. Seriously if you want to help I will buy the thermometers.
