that is interesting, because all my Subie owning friends seem to look at them as Toyotas or Hondas in terms of reliability... iirc, yours was quite new also... my trouble with the subies I rented was the so-so driving experience + significant fuel consumption...

I'm sure there will be a Saab out there for you if/when you feel that pull... I'm actually finding our c900's are pretty easy to own now (not much going wrong), but it's true, they do ask for more owner involvement than new cars. Striking the right balance is important... lots of things to do in life and never enough time!
