OTOH, two summers ago my elder daughter and I drove across the US in my 9K. We ran much of the way at 80 and went across Kansas and into Colorado at a steady 85-90. Most traffic was running 80+, everywhere we went. I don't advocate for unlimited speed roads in the US, except in a few places, but it seems to me that higher limits would be fine. Much of Europe works well with 130 kph (80 mph) and this seems like a very reasonable limit, especially with stricter lane use. Posts in this Thread:
