paypal still charges a fee to the seller even if you use a credit card. I suppose the credit card company charges them a fee though for the transaction + iirc paypal doesn't charge a higher fee for credit cards than bank account transactions... so you are right in that sense, but my understanding was the paypal fee was higher than the cc fee, but I could be wrong...

I would never leave my bank account info on file. Credit card places an upper limit on fraudulent activity... a bank account has little or no protection whatsoever...

fwiw, I do find paypal useful.
