The problem with loud pipes is if I can barely hear anything when they pass, then they defiantly can't hear anything at all. How safe is that!

Years ago my mom not knowing better scheduled a family vacation to Colorado & South Dakota (Black Hills, Band lands, Mt Rushmore, etc), at the same time as the Surges Ride-In & we were staying at a hotel in Sturgis. After a few hours surrounded by literally a hundred thousand people all wearing the same thing (blue or black jeans & a black HD t-shirt) & riding the same bike, I realized they are not non-conformists... they were all joiners!

My two neighbors directly to the west of me, both have Harleys... & I'm convinced they are both compensating... although one much more than the other.
