I am pretty sure I bought one of their compressors off of e bay for my wife's Honda Accord almost 7 years ago. It was a new compressor, but I didn't realize it was a Chinese knock-off and not a Denso OEM, until it arrived. I put it in the car figuring I would have to replace it with a new one in 2 or 3 years.

It is still working fine 7 years and 120,000 miles later, and in fact has lasted longer than the original compressor.

I have used rebuilt compressors on my saab (1991 9000) and it worked fine.

As Notnoel noted, there are really only a few actual compressors used. The variations are the clutches, the mountings and the head configuration.
