Until such time as they are price-competitive with a conventional drivetrain vehicle, can drive 400 miles on a single charge while running lights, air conditioning, radio, and windshield wipers at 70 mph; recharge (or swap batteries) in minutes; full capacity starting out in frigid conditions; with batteries lasting decades and hundreds of thousands of miles and/or be affordable to replace when they wear out; electric cars will not "have their moment" save in very limited urban circumstances and in places where government thugs forcibly coerce people into them.

Show me the batteries, not some lab concept, but full-blown commercially-feasible batteries that can do these things. Until then it is all just BS and the starry-eyed greenies can keep their so-called "driving revolution."
