Is Google Galaxy Nexus a good buy for $399?

I have been looking for a new phone for a while and it looks like Google recently dropped the price on its Galaxy Nexus. Most other top of the line phones are in the $600-$700 range. I know it is missing SD card slot and only has 16 GB of built-in storage.

Are there any other reasons not to buy this phone? I am on T-Mobile with grandfathered-in "no contract" plan ($40/month, 500 voice minutes with unlimited data) so subsidized phones are not really an option for me.
