I posted a few weeks ago about this, but still not sure. Hooking up a simple small trailer with tail lights and signals only. Does anyone have this set-up and how are your trailer lights hooked up? I want to just run 3 wires, one each from running/brake/signal on each side with nothing other than maybe an inline fuse. On the contrary, most websites recommend getting the "kit" which has a direct to battery connection with a modulator to power the light functions. This is obviously something new, what did your Dad and everyone before do to power thier trailer lights? just ran wires I would imagine, nothing fancy or technical in a sense. This will be a 3 or 4 times a year use trailer..for hauling junk or picking up large C-list buys etc. Any suggestions ? thanks! Posts in this Thread:
