There was an article in one of the airplane magazines (sorry I don't remember the title or month) in the doctor's office recently. In it, they were talking about an 80-something year old woman who had flown the B29's as a delivery pilot in WWII. She is now teaching a young woman to be qualified to fly the plane. I'm guessing it's in FIFI. It sounds like a great event. And the opportunity to fly the P51, I'd jump if I had the chance. Apparently the costs to run that P51C are about $2500/hour when you include maintenance and engine rebuilds and whatnot. Mark :-) Posts in this Thread:
