I wouldn't worry too much about a 2-3 year old used car that has been relatively well taken care of, noting also that the european brands (Audi especially) use a high level of galvinization and can handle this kind of exposure better than most cars (Mazda 3 is about the worst I've seen, but some hyundais and other fairly basic cars also)...
It is a good idea to get any car rust proofed if you live in the north east. The spray I use is Rust Check, and actually, they will guarantee your car is rust free if you apply it annually from brand new... so depending on how you read that, it may be possible for a little to set in early but I would not worry about it.
oh, but do get the car checked over mechanically, especially check if it has had the timing belt and water pump done if it is coming up on 100k, or factor that into the pricing (not cheap on audis). Hope it works out, and is a great car for you!
