I wonder though how viable importing Chinese-made Buicks will be for GM given the likely more restrictive trade policies going forward over the next few years... (this is not meant as any sort of political statement, simply a commentary on GM)... it would not surprise me at all if Buick disappeared from the US market, maybe partly as a result.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from GM going forward anyway (aside from perhaps more used SAABs)...
