I suppose your 'Saab is not dead' sentiment may be technically correct as long as Saab owners have a pulse but the automobile brand itself is functionally as dead as fried chicken.

There will not be any new Saabs manufactured in Europe now or in the future. There is a massive oversupply of cars in Europe and brands and manufacturing capacity there needs to consolidate. There is exactly zero need for Saab to return as a functioning auto entity.
