Any source for new/remanufactured seat upholstery?? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 18 Mar 2017 10:35:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Apparently someone really did a number to Saab regarding lowering the quality of the leather and materials used in their seat cushions. Both of our daily drivers, '08 0-5 Aero and '06 9-3SC base have failures in the seat covering materials.
In the case of the 9-5 it is the vinyl dart inserts which have failed, in the case of the 9-3 it is the leather itself. Wow! Only 85K miles too.
I know that "SaabSavior", long out of business, was THE source for new OG900 interior materials. Has anyone initiated a business for doing the same for the newer models?
StateOfNine offers neoprene seat covers for Saabs but I am looking for replacements of the original upholstery itself.
Thanks,
EDIT: I found the below source almost immediately after posting my question. Anyone with experience with this company?
