There are many cars that do not come with a spare tire, a lug wrench or a jack, nor a place to stash them.
BMWs that come with "run flat" tires have a small rectangular cubbyhole under the trunk floor that won't fit a tire; the run flat tires are terrible (particularly in the rain), so if you switch to conventional tires you either keep your AAA card handy or use up some valuable trunk space.
My wife's Chevy Volt has flimsy Low Rolling Resistance tires, which are much more prone to damage vs. conventional tires. I bought a mini spare and a jack from a Chevy Sonic (Korean) and found a place to bolt it to the trunk floor. Got to try it out when the car had 75 miles.
No spares on Teslas.
Meanwhile, I have a full sized tire spare under the floor of my 9000 that I haven't used for about a decade.
