A friend here and I bought a tech2 and for the first couple years it worked more or less great. For the last year it won't connect to either car, we don't use the candi module (1999 and 2003 9-5). Are there any tech2 owners out there, preferable in the midwest, that would help us test ours? I'm 91% sure it's the VCI, I'm thinking I could either mail you our VCI and try it in a known working tech2 or mail you the whole thing and try your VCI in it. I'd pay postage both ways of course, if you're not relatively local (NE Indiana). Kind of at my wits end with this thing and don't want to buy a new VCI unless I know that's the issue. Scott if this is not allowed please delete. Or if you have any input on figure this thing out - it will not communicate with either car. Already tried new software. Thanks!
