I am selling a car right now on craigslist and got the same scam attempt, guy said he was in the army in Alabama but wants to buy my car and will send me the money via paypal. I was trying to think of how this scam would play out and the only thing that makes sense to me is that they will send you and email saying "You got Money sent to you! Login now to claim your funds" hopeing that you will follow the link in the email to a fake paypal website and enter your paypal login info, then they have full access to your bank account. This is the only thing that makes sense to me as i see no reason why a scammer would want to acually collect the car and then try some reversal BS with paypal, because all they get out of that is a $2500 car that is highly tracable and now they have to sell, they just want quick cash.
