That is a good design, but I just jack the car up from the front using the circular spot on the subframe, placing jack stands on either side of the subframe. From the rear I use the trailer hitch though you really need a tall jack for that one.
What I do not like are the side jack points on the 95. They do not work well even using the jack that comes with the car. Tbh I am not convinced I could change a wheel at the side of the road with this car and the crummy stock jack. The one time I needed to I was close enough to home that I could bring my good jack in the other Saab... I don't feel the stock jack is very stable and even jack stands do not work well on the side jack points. The c900 is much better designed in that regard as the jack in the trunk positively engages with clips in the body. The only issue there is that and potentially if the clips get crushed or damaged in some way, then the jack can engage less perfectly and potentially slip...
Really I should buy a lift!
