Much as I use Eeuroparts for my SAAB parts, there are many other suppliers for LED lights; my go-to source is the website "superbrightleds", replaced almost all of the bulbs in my Volvo 1800E with LEDs, which makes seeing the instrument panel at night much better and is somewhat easier on the 50A alternator.
That said, some of the advantages of LED tail lights are that the brake lights come on instantly (vs. a slight warm-up time for incandescent bulbs), the lights can be brighter if chosen appropriately, and you will probably never have another burned out bulb.
A major disadvantage will be that some cars will have their "bulb out" warning light triggered, as the resistance of the LED bulb is quite different than an incandescent bulb. Some of the bulbs are marked "Canbus compatible" which may allow them to be used in cars with Canbus constantly monitoring for burned out components.
