There is a dealer out in Portland (Gary Small). All his Saabs are priced high and are in excellent condition. If this 1988 is a black convertible, it could be a "Springtime in Sweden" model. Saab only sent 4, with automatic transmissions to the U.S.. Saab also sent 284 hatchbacks all with 5 speeds. I've seen the convertible S.I.S. go for as high as $25,000.00 They are all black (interior & exterior) with a black top. They did have the SPG panels, but nothing done to the engine. A few minor features like a "placard" attached to the glove compartment door, indicating the car is a S.I.S model. I've seen this placard sell for almost $1000.00, crazy I know.
