Receiver and turntable both fit Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 2 Nov 2018 08:28:55 In Reply to: Re: Outside my hearing and price ranges, Snowmobile [Profile/Gallery] , Fri, 2 Nov 2018 06:55:12 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Actual depth from back of shelf to door is closer to 13-1/2 inches. Multi-disk carousel players are just too deep. Many single disc players are too. Magazine loading CD players are no longer manufactured.
NAD makes a shallow unit but our oldest purchased a NAD player around 1998 or so and it failed, then its replacement failed. Not a confidence inspiring history with that brand.
Multi-disk function was only routinely used when my wife would load five Holiday CD's, then select Random Play. Otherwise each CD will play for about an hour so it is not inconvenient to manually switch discs on such intervals.
