I have a Liftmaster 8550W belt-drive garage door opener. Chamberlain and Liftmaster are the same parent company.
I had to add the compatibility bridge for our Saab. It works well, but must be plugged to AC power. Apparently the Homelink setup in some models/years of vehicles are not compatible with the chamberlain/liftmaster units.
