I have repaired the rear side pieces housing the halogen reading lamps with material I purchased at a fabric store- worked great- the important thing is to get "general adhesive" by 3m from an auto parts store and not heavy-duty which will soak through. It is now time for me to do the roof with various sags. The only way I can see to do this is to cut the headliner backing-board somewhere around the sun-roof to remove it in two seperate pieces. The material is a heavy cardboard like material that can be sliced with a utility knife. I will proceed to JoAnn Fabrics to see if I can find some more of this tan fabric. When you get the old pieces out- you must sand off the old foam so the new fabric sticks to the plastic pieces. This was the only project my wife endorsed and participated in on my beloved Saab- she continues to compete for my attention with the car and doesn't understand man's relationship with four wheels.
