We have buried a few people in Honda's along with other Jap & US cars. Never in a SAAB. We had a call 2 years ago which happned in front of out "fun home". A Integra (1-2 yrs old) was T-boned by a dodge charger (6+yrs old) & the 27 yr old driver of the Acura was killed. The impact was at 60 ish mpg & directly behind the drivers/pass seat, was completly torn apart. The front & back end of the acura was 30+ ft apart with parts going everywhere & the driver of the acura being thrown from the car & killed. We all know how poorly build the charger's are built & he was actually fine.
To me, this was proof on how poor honda's are built.
Their engine's aren't amazing to me. Anyone can make a 240 HP motor with 150 ft lb torqu. I also feel that having something silky smooth can be a bad thing. I like a motor with some character to it (like a turbo) but then again, I don't view driving as just transportation, it's fun.
