Thats totally false. You can jump any car with a 12volt system. Connect your car first with the jumper cables. then connect the positive jump terminal to the positive post of the other cars battery. Then connect the ground cable to the engine block of the other car, not the battery. Do this to avoid sparks which can lead to combustion of the external variety.If you're that concerned, purchase a 12 volt jump box at any autoparts store.
