I called Camelback Saab yesterday to complain about the not-so-great work they did on my car last week. I was told that they are closing and that Kachina Cadillac in Scottsdale had bought the Saab franchise and on Monday it would open under the name Kachina Saab. I called Kachina Cadillac and confirmed that. I don't have their number handy (it's at the office written under Monday on my calendar), but I'll post it here on Monday if you still need it (I'm going to be out tomorrow).
I was told that Kachina Saab is taking some of Camelback Saab's techs, but not any of their service advisors. I asked if Kachina was planning on stocking more parts and was told yes. They are also supposed to have more loaner cars and be able to turn around repairs quicker. I sure hope so because dealing with Camelback Saab was getting quite old. Last time I had my car in, they had it for two and a half weeks and still didn't fix everything right. When I had my 328i, Chapman BMW would have done those same repairs in two days.
Anyway, enough venting. Even though I would never buy a Cadillac, I am going to try to be optimistic.
