The new cars are very nice to drive, but not to work on. There are so many creature comforts in all new cars, it makes them nice to drive. If you do your own work, your probably better off with the classic 900. My '91 900 is very nice to drive, but BOTH of my early 99's ride and handle much better, especially in adverse conditions such as snow, strong winds or rain. There are numerous quirks to the old 99's, but you can cruise on the highway with the windows all down, and not have your hair blown all over the place. the heat and air controls designed in the '60s is also much , much better. Don't go knocking the classic Saabs, these people who praise them do it for a reason.Early Saabs were way ahead of the times, new ones are simply within the times.
