I agree the Flex has alot to offer, though the styling is not the most appealing to me. It looks like one of the few SUVs that a stand up paddle board could fit in which is something I would value, so I haven't crossed it off my list. The Highlander is still an option for me - it's one of the few with rear glass that opens for long items. Having had an 04 Lexus RX330 for five years and countiing, I am impressed with Toyota reliability over the 45,000 miles we have put on it...and its seats are more confortable than the 9-5 IMO, but I don't know that the Highlander seats are equally good. I plan to check out the new Acadia and even the new Mitsubishi Outlander V6 despite its styling issues given its value, warranty and reported excellent driver visibility. In the meantime, I am still lovin our two 2.3t 95s.
