My 2000 9-5 Base model stickered at $37K IIRC. My 2000 Viggen 'vert has the window sticker still in the glove box with a total price of over $45K.
The wife's '06 9-3SC window sticker says ~$27K. I remember that new 9-3's would be discounted to sell for less than new Chevys which had far less features and equipment on them than the SAABs.
Add in the rumor that GM kept all profits on SAABs in the US to bolster their meager North American profits, rather than return them to Sweden to boost the profits of SAAB, and it is no wonder SAAB no longer exists
