and i hope to keep it that way. Mercedes of all kinds have been real problem children over the last ten/fifteen years (see CR) even though they look and drive very cool. If you're financing it you'll have the worst of all worlds--payments and pricey repairs. If someone held a gun to my head and made me buy a European sport-ute it would probably be a BMW X3 because of it's relative simplicity. Actually a Saab 9-7 wouldn't be bad--I maintained my bosses Envoy (same thing)and it really wasn't a bad car. An Acura MDX would be a stellar choice, with a Honda Pilot coming in second. A Toyota Landcruiser/Lexus would be good if you have to go the hilux route and you can stand the pain at the pump. A Four Runner or Highlander would make a mere mortal happier. There's a lot of choices but the MB would be way down on the list for me anyway.
