So they wife and I have been shopping a long time, and we came across a 2004 alero that she fell in love with, its not perfect, but ac works, wheels are good, drives straight. has 100k miles on the 2.2 4cyl, anybody own one of these before, or its equivalent an pontiac grand am? (specifically with the 2.2L ecotech?) I was surprised to see that it too uses a DIC. well at least it looks like it with the electronics on the outside with a heatsink on them (whoda thunk a heat sink might help keep them from frying themselves.)
If anybody has owned one, let me know, even though my wife fell in love with it, it has been relegated to my daily driver, so we won't be putting the miles on the "nice" (her) car.
