I agree with Justin... I would look for a better tire model rather than larger size (what are on the car now? how old are they? what tread depth?)... It could just be hard older all seasons that were designed to wear forever but not perform that well... 205/60R15 would be considered quite wide tires for a c900 (stock is 185/65R15), and it sounds like the Alero is comparable in weight? I'd have to be braking really hard after driving really fast to lock up either of my c900s! And a wider tire is (all else being equal) more inclined to hydroplane...
